Mood: Smiley

I’m about to blog a review on the Canon Digital Ixus 130 (14.1 megapixels, HD video recording) but beforehand, do note that this review is coming from an average person who knows nothing about ISO, optical lens, light metering and such jargon, one who just wants a good user-friendly digital camera that takes beautiful pictures!

The few points I’ll be stressing on would be:

  • Exterior appearance
  • Display quality
  • Navigation
  • Features
  • Photo and video quality

Without further ado, let’s begin with the first aspect: ↓

Exterior Appearance

If you have been one who always held on to large, brick-like gadgets, you’d find the Canon Ixus 130 to be very slim, compact and fitting to the palm. The measurements are:

Horizontal length: 9cm
Vertical length: 5.5cm
Thickness: 1.5cm

However its built is rather flat so getting a good grip by the side might prove difficult for big hands.

So Did I Get It?

Mood: Pathetic

(Laughs nervously)

Sadly, no…I didn’t get the job — Did not even stand a chance!

The minute I got there, the hall was packed with swans — SWANS! <OAO>

Initially I thought I could have ended up at the wrong place seeing this was kind of like auditioning for America’s Next Top Model.

I still managed to submit my application form and gave a brief introduction but to no avail.

Where did I lose out?

Who knows…My wages are on my face. I look like a fourth-world ugly janitor for crying out loud! <TAT>

Well, sheep is back at the cross junction — looking for alternatives.

By the way, all of you guessed correctly in the previous entry. I was trying out for flight attendant. Did you all really guess it or copied Rocket‘s answer? (Laughs)

Baa~ Oh how I dare to even think of going for air stewardess with a face like this! <_  _>

That’s it! <TAT>

Off I go to get a paper bag over my face. Mind you, I would like to sulk for a bit! (Laughs)

After having my shit self present in a hall filled with elegant swans, it has really robbed sheep of her self-esteem right inside from appearance to inner values. <x__x>

[ . . . ]

You know what? <-__->

I should keep my mind occupied with something else…Say —- DIY Miniature? ↓

Oh yes~ Please take my mind away from today’s depression!

!! runs away !!

Update! [ Sunday, 27th June, 11:23+p.m ]

I spent the entire Sunday assembling this miniature set~! ↓

This model doesn’t have many components so it was a quick job. I cheated a bit though, by using tape to plaster certain parts because the glue just won’t stick especially the wires!

And I was flabbergasted to discover that I wasn’t given enough stones for the fire place, so I had to look for tiny stones outside my garden!

Baa, let’s move on with pictures~! ↓

There’s no more space on my wall shelf so for the time being, this addition will be on my desk shelf instead. ↓

Thinking of adding a longer shelf beneath… Baa… <´•ω•`>

Panicking, Panicking!

Mood: Cranky Oh dear, oh fuck…!

I’m going for an interview this Saturday and now I’m feeling very nervous! <≥A≤>/

The interview requires formal clothes, make-up and overall, well presented. Nails have to be cut and polished, hair must be in place — Don’t all job interviews have this standard requirement?

Of course.

However in addition to the position that I’m about to apply, there’s a certain height and weight required, so as skin complexion, a pleasant smile and social skills. Sheep is afraid that she might not be able to meet up to those requirements! Appearance does take in account for this line of work!

Baa! \<`A´>/

Anyway whether I get the job or not, we’ll find out soon enough. Meanwhile, you can try guessing what job is that. Come, exercise your brain and imagination! (Laughs)

Some clues:

  • Particular about height and weight
  • Fairly good overall appearance
  • Have an upbeat personality and sociable
  • Good hospitality
  • Training before the actual job
  • Lots of traveling

Quite easy to guess, huh? <^-^>/

I already bought my clothes meant for the interview as well as shoes and a new handbag. It’s funny because I’ll be dressing in my new clothes but beneath them all, I’ll be wearing my old undergarments! (Laughs)

Good thing they won’t flip my skirt up to check if I’m wearing Triumph or LaSenZa, nay? Hohohoho!

Well, another mundane entry from the ever ordinary O type sheep. My apologies. <_  _>

If I have time, I’ll write a short review on the Canon Digital Ixus 130 which I purchased last week. Just give me some time to go out and look for nice things to snap pictures of, alright?

Time to go~ Ja ne!

Yesterday was my first time working as a waitress. It was fantastic, pleasant, enjoyable and most of all — I love the cafe~

Unfortunately, I no longer work there. <´•__•`>

Would you like to make a guess as to why?

Take your pick out of the following: ↓

a) Sheep got fired for breaking the cups and plates

b) Sheep quit

c) Sheep burned her face while serving sizzling Teriyaki Chicken

d) Sheep got another job offer

e) Sheep severed her leg while working

[ . . . ]

You have 10 seconds to choose. <—ω—>/

[ 10, 9, 8, ------------- 0 ]

Done guessing? <^x^>

Well the answer is B; I quit. <_   _>lll

RM700 (which is US$214 | SG$ 298) a month for a 12-hours  job with only one day off in every 2 weeks is not worth it in my opinion.

Do you find it rewarding?

Even the part-time pay isn’t appealing so I decided to quit.

Too bad because I really like the cafe and the long hours I spent there yesterday allowed me to watch people enjoy themselves.

Although I’ve only worked there for a day, I have lots of happy things (as well as personal matters) to say but I better keep it short because it might lead to a lengthy chat.

… I wonder if I made the right decision… What would you do? Carry on working with that salary or quit?

With that said, there you have it! <-__->

This is sheep who is looking for another job. <_  _>lll

Everyone, I apologize for being useless despite your support. <;__;>

PS: c) did occur. But I didn’t get burn badly, thankfully!
