Mood - Crack on Happy Pills

Mood - Crack on Happy Pills

A very jovial and gleeful hello to all of you~

This is the curvy, small-waistline and sheepish Ms.Aya writing to you~

(Laughs) Ok, ok — Ignore the curvy and small-waistline statement please. <^-^>lll

Sheep is so happy because sheep is wearing her new dress but most of all — happy because sheep is blogging to the few yet faithful readers. <^x^>/

In my previous entry, I mentioned that I’ll reveal my latest artwork as well as blogging tips on how to win/capture readers’s attention. Well I’ve completed my artwork however honestly speaking, I wouldn’t declare it as a masterpiece. In lieu, it’s horrible and I’m gonna have to redo it for the third time. (Laughs nervously)

As for the blogging tips, before we get to that part — Here is the most important question you must ask yourself and reflect upon:

What/Who inspired you to blog?

There must be a solid reason why you started blogging, agree?

Well in this post, I want to share with everyone my first blog discovery and what triggered me to blog.

I know I’m not a Blog Star or someone great but I feel that blogging seems to be the only shining star for me. (Laughs)

Another reason I want to share this with everyone is to remind myself what and how I was intrigued to start a blog. In other words — Re-inspire myself. <´ー`>

The Hobby of Writing Open Diaries

This hobby started when I was in primary school. I used to have a little book where I’d write whatever came to mind; which normally revolved around the friendship type of topic. Everyday my friends would ask me for the book and they would sit and read it together. Those days were very peaceful and simplistic for everyone talks nice things about one another and never too vicious with their opinions.

I only wrote at the maximum of 7 lines of *tiny, tiny* words along with *puny, puny* cute drawings and they could happily read as well as share their thoughts and comments.

Sooner or later, I brought forth my diary hobby to some other girls (including Mira, my ex-co-blogger). It was like our little book of secrets where we could write about everyday’s events and footage of our school life together.

After I got into secondary school, I still continued writing however, it became more private because my friends were adopting this knack of gossiping without a care. Eventually, my diaries were just written to myself and it became somewhat lonesome thereafter.

The thought of writing to a person diminished for some time until my final year in secondary school. A classmate of mine suggested to have a secret book which only the few of us can read. It was a happy and exciting moment for me to be able to write again. I know if I wanted to write my thoughts, I can always do that but the feeling I get when writing TO A PERSON is different. It makes my words alive and real compared to addressing to “Dear Diary”, a dead end book which remains in the comfort zone and never advancing or striving to reach out to people.

Incidentally around this time… I came to know about blogs.

The Starting Point of My Blogging Hobby

It was nearly the end of my final year in secondary school and in time, we would not be able to write in a book together again. Thankfully, I discovered blogging and this memory will always remain vivid and imprinted in my head.

I was debating with somebody about Christianity, precisely; the difference between the Catholic faith over those of other denomination. Although I was bent on proving my point, in the end I failed to for I couldn’t response spontaneously in a verbal argument.

So it was frustrating for me to speak my mind out at the same time, I read Maddox’s website and got the inspiration to write my thoughts online. Wanting to get my opinions written and read, I begun by creating a blog via Friendster. I managed to do my brain dump there, had some strangers reading ‘em… but as time ticked-tock away, I got fed up with Friendster because there were a swamp of assholes harassing me on my Friendster inbox (never to the point of haranguing me though).

From there I hopped from Friendster to Blogspirit and to whatever I could find until Gray recommended WordPress to sheep.

*Thanks Gray*

Then onwards, I blogged… Blog, blog and blog until I am discovered. <^x^>

I don’t need friends (whom I know in person) to read me. It can be anybody as long as they have good intentions. I don’t want the spot light to always be on me so I let my readers share their point of view in the comment section where I can read and response to; it’s a two-way communication.

Ultimately, I enjoy writing and expressing through writing (& blogging) despite how lousy my English can be. I think I have better chances when it comes to writing than talking. (Laughs)

I know I blog rubbish for instance: What I bought today, what I ate etc…

And I’m surprise that people actually read my crap, agree with my points and accept my recommendations. (Laughs)

Baa~

I guess we do cherish the little things that happen in our daily lives. <*^_^*>

Baa~

Therefore …. Heh, enough about sheep. <x_x>

Your turn, peeps~!

  • What or who inspired and driven you to blog?

In addition —

  • How much do you love blogging and your readers?
  • What is blogging to you?

I used to write a diary almost everyday at the start of secondary school, then somehow I move on to Xanga because it’s much nicer to post pictures as well as words.
I kinda got bored to it when i realise hardly anybody read it ><

THEN I FELL IN LOVE WITH MY CURRENT FAVOURITE BAND! ^-^ and I started writing blogs again on Livejournal (though my inital intention is to have somewhere to read all those interviews I found)

Right now I post almost everyday (and u can see my blog is very well-maintained hehe) and I got so close to some of my readers that I even met up with several of them!

Well, I’ve been a very fickle blogger since the very beggining… I started the first “Rocket Life” about 4 years ago. One of my steady jobs is writing cd reviews for a mexican independent rock magazine, they have a limit of how many lines you can fit in the mag’s space each issue, so all my reviwes and texts are usually summarized, and that always leaves out half of the original text I wrote.

I started the first RL because I didn’t want my efforts to go to waste, I posted the whole reviews and texts there and after a little while I started posting other stuff I liked.

The latest RL’s version is something quite different from what it was in the beggining, it’s become more personal, far more chessy and crappy, but the original elements are still there, music, fashion and women

I’ve been inspired by many bloggers, specially Plaqueta and Andamos Armados

I also get inspiration from this blog, specially when Sheep wears those cute body-fitting dresses *drools*

I started off with diary too~ Not sure at what age, have to go dig for my old diaries to find out. Then at age of 14, I started to surf around in forums, and then found out about blog.

My first blog is either Wretch or Friendster… Forgot d XP But at 1st it was to share some self written stories, slowly it become more to personal stuff, and now even random stuff are included XP

However most of the time I blog in Chinese XP I only started to blog in English after I graduated from High School.

Blogging to me is a very special way to express~
I’m not really good at expressing myself through speaking, and the only way is to write. That’s the main reason I blog. 2nd reason would be to record my life and thoughts. I find it really fun to read back all the old posts^^

Anyway, this is a very nice post^-^ I really enjoyed reading all your blog posts, though I didn’t reply much XP And sorry for my lousy english~ Lastly, I also want a cup of Starbucks coffee T___T

Hmm .. I still remembered the day when we passed the river and you told me and my sis that you are going to throw your diary into the river or burning them or something like that ~

You really did it ??? O.O ?

anyways ~

Answer for your questions :

[What or who inspired and driven you to blog?]

- Well , Actually this whole blog thing started is YOU and some what you encourage me to blog =) because everytime when I visited your blog .. I fell that I too want to write something and then when I grow up , I would want to read them back again . Plus, your english was quite good! ( The ranting part was fun, I also get to unload my anger in comment boxes )

[How much do you love blogging and your readers?]

- I love blogging , ALOT . At first I just wanted to rant and spam all of my frustration into the blog hopping that one day those useless “creatures” will read it and also for letting out my hate ..

But then , When such welcoming readers ( I dont wanna sound selfish , But you who you are =D ) came in to help give advice about the problems im facing . and also to comment/support . It really drove me to write more .

[What is blogging to you?]

-To me , Blogging is my only world of communicating with people outside from my God forsaken – pathetic- piece of land-called “My Room”, and writing a blog is a good thing to record what important thing that I have went through my “teenage” life .

Lastly, I would like to thank Sheep for the full support that you have given me for the past 3 years of my blogging life !

Dear Pixy

What a simple guy. (Laughs)

Dear kioko

So kioko blogs out of her love for Kat-Tun. (Smiles)

I got so close to some of my readers that I even met up with several of them!

How awesome! You gotta teach me how to be as open-minded and friendly as you! (Laughs)

Dear Sandage

I was reading your response deeply until I reached the last part… *points below*

I also get inspiration from this blog, specially when Sheep wears those cute body-fitting dresses *drools*

Suddenly I felt an invisible 10 tan of weight fell onto my head.

あれわぜんぜん関係ないわ。 ぜんぜん!

とにかくいいね… You were able to write reviews in magazine’s spaces. How did you got the job? Were any qualifications required?

Dear Gray

Please don’t chivvy me to tweet. You can see from my Facebook, I don’t always update my statuses. (Laughs)

Dear Synjie

By far, 3 people here are the diary-type of person hence we blog. (^-^)

Blogging to me is a very special way to express~

I have the same regards as you. When I speak, I’m afraid I make mistakes or say the wrong things; plus can’t think of the right words on the spot. At least when it comes to writing, I can proof read and edit the mistakes before letting others read it.

Anyway, this is a very nice post^-^ I really enjoyed reading all your blog posts, though I didn’t reply much XP And sorry for my lousy english~

Thanks. I like checking out your blog too. You post lots of nice pictures to view~ (Laughs)

From what I see, your English is readable and ok therefore, please don’t worry about it.

Lastly, I also want a cup of Starbucks coffee T___T

Come and get it. (Laughs)

Dear Saru-chan

Hmm .. I still remembered the day when we passed the river and you told me and my sis that you are going to throw your diary into the river or burning them or something like that ~

You really did it ??? O.O ?

The ‘teh-tarik river’ is it?

Yea, I did burn some of my old diaries and binned them. The next day, I saw an old lady picking up my stack of old diaries and left. (I think she intended to use them for recycling) I wanted to race after her because I was afraid she would read my stuff. In the end, I couldn’t find her. DOH!

Plus, your english was quite good!

*Tears* .. was good.. Does that mean my English is now bad? (Cries)

Lastly, I would like to thank Sheep for the full support that you have given me for the past 3 years of my blogging life !

You’re welcome. I never thought I can inspire anybody. (Laughs)

Ha ha ha, I relate to the monkey boy too, you know, the reason for my blog to become more personal and diary-type is because of your influence (actually you did ask me to make it that way  ).

関係ないって言われても、あっやちって可愛くて、魅力な存在でこのサイト、アップでートしてるか毎日確認しまっくてる。ま、あやっちん面白いとこも好きだね。

hehe oh yes I start out my blog with mostly just talking about KAT-TUN but then I have more life stories along with the fangirling^^

Of course you need to be careful when it comes to meeting up with readers. I made sure i knew them for a few months, chat frequently on my blog and on msn (or even phone)
…and of course we added each other on facebook too!
It’s a very exciting thing, you know, to finally meetup with your readers/fellow bloggers^-^

Dear Sandage

Haha.. I needed the help of the translator to read the kanji words.

Well, I’m happy to know that my sense of fashion is appreciated and that sheep is an interesting kid who updates her blog almost daily. (Laughs)

Ha ha ha, I relate to the monkey boy too, you know, the reason for my blog to become more personal and diary-type is because of your influence (actually you did ask me to make it that way  ).

I hope I didn’t force both of you into this. You know, if you don’t want to then you can always decline sheep’s suggestion. (Laughs)

Wow.. You’re so brave to meet your readers. This sheep has no confidence. (Laughs nervously)

Yea.. I can see how active your blog is. Lots of Kat-Tun fan’s girls. (Laughs) (*o_o*)

Dear Pixy

Not too complex to the Matrix standard, just above average will do. (Laughs)

Your readers are not as scary as you thought, you know XD

It takes time to build up the trust and friendship though, like I have actually been posting on that blog for a year already. Besides on Livejournal we can join communities where we can meet loads more fangirls^^

Wow, the history of Ms. Aya’s blogging career! (:

I started journalling when I was 9 years old, and when I was 13 or 14, my friends started blogging. my very first blog (silverkiseki.pitas) is still there because I can’t bear to delete it, altho I’ve archived everything to clear the front page. (: I’ve always enjoyed being able to express myself with words, and it works as a way to think things out, or simply to vent my emotions to calm myself down.

I love it when my friends read and comment actively on what I have blogged, but I’m also very aware of what I write on my blog. Thus I have still kept my personal journal on top of my blog, and strictly nobody gets to read that at all. But of course all my readers so far have just been in my circle of friends… strangers seldom visit my blog, perhaps because I don’t blog about very big or interesting things! >< but there have been a couple of times when I chased strangers away from my blog because they made some comments that were not very nice, or rather stalkerish-like. so I guess if anything, that would be what I have to improve on as a blogger.

Speaking of which, Sheep-chan, I’m always very happy whenever you visit my blog and comment! (: and in terms of friendliness, you are always very welcoming to new readers to your blog! so a big thumbs-up to you for that! (((:

Do I look like a monkey ? O.O “

Dear kioko

Sou ka. But you normally meet up with girls right? *Can’t imagine a swamp of male Kat-tun fans squealing and fangirling* (Laughs)

Dear Pixy

Your friend must be the Architecture himself then. (Laughs)

Dear Krayle

I’ve always enjoyed being able to express myself with words, and it works as a way to think things out, or simply to vent my emotions to calm myself down.

Agreed. Writing/blogging comes out more fluently than speaking.

Say..

It seems that the some of the bloggers here are the diary-type of people. (o_o) Amusing..

but there have been a couple of times when I chased strangers away from my blog because they made some comments that were not very nice, or rather stalkerish-like.

Were they very nasty? (Shivers)

Sheep scared of those type of readers. Don’t really know what their scheming or up to.

Speaking of which, Sheep-chan, I’m always very happy whenever you visit my blog and comment! (: and in terms of friendliness, you are always very welcoming to new readers to your blog! so a big thumbs-up to you for that! (((:

Sou ka.. I’m happy to know that my small contribution can make a person happy.

Well… If you want to improve your blog, posting pictures is a good start. It doesn’t have to be you camwhoring, just a particle of what you see in your life is good more than enough.

Dear Saru-chan

Hehe, I went back to your very first blog entry and yea, I could see the major improvement.

LOL oh yes the fans I met up with are ALL girls~
It’s normally a once in a lifetime because my readers are spread around the world. Besides we all live a different life so unless we happen to be in the same country, meetup is impossible.
