I’ve not used nor read any reviews on the functionality and durability of the Lollipop phone so I can’t compare the pros and cons. But as for Ice-cream phone, I can tell you that it hangs/restarts when you are multi-tasking and while browsing through your files very quickly.

Ice-cream phone is a phone with very basic functions and the themes are really plain (2 very plain themes available). Lollipop has a couple of nice themes so if you are one who likes cute lil stuff on your phone’s menu, you might like it.

Other than this, there is nothing more the sheep can tell you, sorry. (;__; )

Hi hi!
Sorry for bothering you, but I’ve got some concerns for the LG Ice Cream. D:
I hear it’s a very common problem for the phone to hang and die and make you do those things in those GameFly commercials. If that is so, what are the chances of it not hanging? )):
I’m asking my mom’s friend to buy it for me from the Philippines so it will be about 7 thousand pesos, and I’m fine with that and all.
But I’m beginning to prefer the Lollipop, which is 11 thou…
Which would you recommend? Because by far, the problems are the same for both. ):

hi, its me again.thanks for ur help. i just sent in my ice cream phone yesterday to the zitron shop.the lady there told me that its most probably that we are the 1st batch of buyers for the ice cream phone shipped to malaysia and the software or hardware inside our phone is not updated..*not quite sure bout that* anyway i will finally be getting back my phone in a week.whee*grins* thanks MS.AYA=)

Well.. To be very sure and safe, I think it’s better if you buy it from a shop so that if any problem occurs, you can send it back to them for repair at the cost of nothing by using your warranty card.

In case anything happens, you know whose hands are keeping your phone.

But if you are used to purchasing online and know the safety measures by hard, then go ahead and buy.

Just keep hoping that your phone won’t deliver you any troubles.

Yea. I ordered some stickers online. Once they are delivered and I’m done decorating, I’d be sure to post pictures of it!

Oh I see.
I wonder if they have this phone available in shops already, here in Canada but I think they only do in Pacific Mall in Toronto.
I’m buying the unlocked phone off the internet.
I just REALLY hope it doesn’t hang or anything because I’m not going to buy warranty and if it does hang, I’d have to send it through mail since I’dve purchased it online. >_>

Fortunately, I did not spend a single cent to repair it because I was given a new phone. What I did was — I returned the phone to the shop where I bought it from and they gave me a new one. Though as a penalty, I had to wait for 2 weeks + to get it. (At that time, there was no pink in stock hence had to wait)

The shop attendant did not provide me any DIY solutions. He just told me that if my phone has any problems again, I can swap for a new one or he’ll send it to the nearest LG outlet for me.

I think I’m entitled for his service as long as the warranty card — I don’t know.

The same problem? As in your phone hanged also? Wow… This is becoming quite a common problem. I suggest you go back to the phone outlet or send it to repair at a LG outlet. Bring your receipt and warranty card just in case.

There’s a girl who had her phone fixed in 2 hours. So I think you don’t have to wait that long.
