I was hoping that I could report good news in my second report for the LG KF350 but NOooo~ Something awfully wrong just can’t spare sheep! (Tears)

I tried removing the battery, sim card, connect it to the computer … even wished that somehow the alarm that I set for the next day will somehow trigger the system to function again… In the end all attempts were futile. <;__;>

Sheep is sad and disappointed. It hung for 3 days already. <_ _>lll

A~ah well.. *sobs* After Christmas, I’ll send it for repair — And please after this, no more surprises. I hate surprises. <u_u,>

Besides this, I have more things to report about this phone.

Input dictionary keeps resetting to default - I’m used to typing manually so the first thing I did when I got the phone was — I disabled the dictionary. However, when I turned off and on my phone again — The dictionary enables itself again. It’s annoying in the sense that I have to keep disabling every time I switch on my phone.
The receiving end can’t hear me clearly – I phoned Mira a couple of times and she had difficulties in making out what I was saying. She said that my voice sounded very soft and unclear. <;__;> Saru-chan called me once and he thought I was half-sleep judging from my sloppy voice!
MMS – Mira sent me a MMS and at first, I had problems retrieving it. Later I discovered that I needed to download the MMS settings again. I’m using HOTLINK and in the process getting the settings, I couldn’t find LG KF350 in the category of download. Usually you need to select your phone model before downloading the settings, right? Perhaps LG KF350 is too new that’s why. In this case, I selected LG KF300, since it’s sort of similar to LG KF350. Fortunately, it worked!
External LED - Baa… I’m not sure whether it’s meant to be or only my phone is dysfunctional but — the time and emoticon only appeared for 2 seconds and disappeared just like that. Odd…

Apart from these, I have nothing more to report.. Since my phone hanged on the 2nd day BEFORE I could explore it to the fullest. (Cries)

Due to this unwanted incident, I could not take a picture of the dead rat that Auwlithe killed.

You see, this rat has been camping in our car engine for weeks. We didn’t know until Auwlithe urged us to check the car engine.

We tried to catch it but the rat was such a sneak and our rat traps were to no avail.

Anyway, yesterday when I returned home from shopping — Auwlithe showed me the dead rat and it appears that it’s neck was twisted.

I’m convinced that it was Auwlithe’s work since he killed another rat and a pigeon using the same method, in front of me.

Ms Aya. i just bought this phone last Sat.
But im quite disappointed with the battery life… Its like it can only last for one day T_T.. i dun think i use that much either….

Dear Mimicry

When you say your phone battery ran out, did it really die out and indicate ‘Low Battery’ or just dropped to 1 or 2 bars? (.___.)

Because to what I know, the battery seems weird sometimes. One minute it drops one bar the next, it goes back to full. (x___x)

Suppose this is not the case, then perhaps your battery is faulty. I think you better go back to where you bought it and claim for a new battery. There’s no such thing as a phone with the life span of a day. There has to be something wrong with it and it’s their fault, not yours. (u_u)

I’d stomped back there and demand a new battery because this is not what I paid for, right? (T_T)

Even if you get a new battery, I think it can last at least 4 days depending on how heavy your usage is. I suggest you minimize and conserve it by lowering the tone for the keypad and maybe switch off the flip sound or so. (_ _)lll

But now I read this, I’m scared about buying this phone, because I saw the advert for it on YouTube and fell in love with it n _ n
Now I’ve also seen the advert for the Cyon Ice-Cream 2, and I’m confused. Do you think I should go ahead and buy the first Ice Cream phone? Or wait until the new one comes out? You plan to buy on ebay? That’s hard to decide because there are risks involve. If your phone malfunctions then it would be problematic, troublesome and heart aching for you.

I really can’t help you decide and it depends on your luck I guess. What color do you plan to buy by the way? I read in forums that pink seems to be the most vulnerable while the other 2 colors don’t seem to have much problems.

I can’t confirm this.

I know, I would be so upset if anything happened to it after spending alot of money for it. Perhaps I should wait until the Ice-Cream 2 has some reviews, and if that is no good either, I’ll try and find another phone T __ T”

hey.do any of you know how to delete all the smses at once in the ice cream phone cox the max no of msg the phone can hold is only 100 plus and i dunno how to delete all msg and i have to delete one by one:S
and is there a way to off the key pad sound without making the phone mute as in put it in silent mode

Here’s how yo delete messages all at one go.

Go to: Options — Mark/Unmark — (1) Mark those that you wish to delete (2) Mark all; means select all.

Then you press C and delete all the selected messages to perish into the void of emptiness!

Keypad sound:

Settings — Profiles — (Choose which profile you wish to edit) — Options — Edit — Scroll down to KEYPAD VOLUME and lower it.

Actually at the main screen, you can lower your keypad volume by clicking the side up and down button.

This should help you.

You can’t mute the sound of your camera, sorry.

If you want to sneak and take a picture, try using SOUND 2 that goes DING DONG~

Because people might assume that your phone has a new message. “Chik-Chiak” is too obvious. (Laughs)

Well I heard that pink has the most problem. But can’t be too sure if the blue ones are free from defections.

The music quality is good if the phone is flipped open. Closing it would sound softer.

I don’t have any problem with my call log because to begin with, I don’t let my log accumulate that much. (Laughs)

If it bothers you a lot, you should send it back for amendment. Or — if you don’t want to make a trip to Zitron over a small issue, wait until it hangs then. (^-^)v

Well… I wouldn’t know if it works for Tmobile. I think as long as you get the unlocked version (3 megapixels, no 3G), then it should be able to work in California.

hello! i;m here to ask u smth regarding the ice cream phone
i’ve bought it 6days ago and it started hanging. it hangs about 1 time per day D: D: D:
sobs!
the only thin i can do is to pluck off the battery and it restarts
because i cant off it when it hangs D;
but i;m worried about the battery being damaged if i pluck it off with de phone stil on D:

but,other than that this phone gives me no problema at all. – just the hanging.

I think you better get it repaired. If you were to ask for a new one, it could also end up being a defect so it’s best to get the problem fixed once and for all.

Remember to show them your warranty card and receipt of purchase.

my advice: send it back to the store or whatever, saying that it was the first shipment. your phone was obviously part of the first shipment, which failed miserably…they did a recall a couple days or a week or two after there was the mass problem

I got this phone too (exacly white) so I can give u some opinions if u want (and hope Sheep wont mind hehe) It depends where u got your phone, if u get it via online shopping, then there’d be some risks but if u get it in a proper shop the phone would hopefully be perfectly ok. Like mine, there isnt any problem till now (I have mine for a few weeks already^^) except a tiny one which can quickly be solved by taking out the battery and putting it back in haha

So, so, so ADORABLE!! Slim and stylish.. Feels kawaii when using it. I accept the fact that the function is just so-so.

Hi, so I’ve read practically nearly all of the comments about this post. But I’m still not sure whether I should buy it or not – because everyone has been saying it gets ‘hanged’. I like it so much though! My friend has this phone as well but it hasn’t stuffed up for her yet and she’s had it since last year now. I want to get the blue one, the blue one is good right? :S I’m scared if it hangs I can’t get it fixed since I live in Australia.

It should be fine. I haven’t heard of anyone getting their ice-cream phone hanged for a very long time already. I guess only the first batch were faulty and problematic.

If it hangs, I think you can get it to any phone shop to get it fixed because by now, shops would have this phone[?]

Well, sheep can’t simply say for sure other than:

1. Haven’t heard of this problem in a long run
2. Those who bought outside of Malaysia and Singapore doesn’t seem to have this problem. At least, never complain about it here…

…my only complain is that there’s too less space so I cant write much, but recently I did the word “Love” it’s so nice!
