Kon’ban wa~☆!

This is Ms.Aya the sheep, blogging about her regular weekend to —- whoever gives a damn. (Laughs)

During the weekends, I love to stay at home and read books or surf the Internet. You probably prefer to go out and meet your friends since you’re busy working/studying during the weekdays. So I guess we’re on a different page. But I understand. The weekends are the days you get a chance to catch up with your buddies. <u_u>

Anyway, I had my lunch at home yesterday. Usually, I don’t eat lunch or if I do — I will buy from outside. <•ω•>/ No, I did not dish out my own meal. I ate a packet of noodles which I’m about to introduce to you~♥ \<^ε^>/

For all those I-can’t-cook-for-squat AND noodle lovers, please try this noodle~♥! ↓

Korean Instant Noodles

Nong Shim Potato Noodles

The method of preparing this noodle is similar to your average maggi mee. The soup is spicy and the noodles are very soft, tender and chewy! <^ω^>/

Unlike certain Maggi mee/instant noodles which comes with only the spices, Nong Shim Potato Noodles comes with dried ingredients such as spring onions and mushrooms! /<´v`>\~¤

Noodles!

Noodles!

I bought it at JUSCO Tebrau, JB for RM5.10 (Price is uncertain. Estimatedly to be RM5 and a few cents). Unfortunately, you might not be able to find this scrumptuous noodle easily. I’ve tried searching at other supermarkets but to no avail.

So — I think you can only find it in JUSCO supermarkets. <-___->

WAIT~! Try the Korean Mart! Since it is a product of Korea… <T_T>

After I wiped out my bowl of potato noodles, I proceed to dessert~! ↓

Walls Ice-Cream

Walls Viennetta

I remember when the first time Wall’s released Viennetta, it was very expensive (at that time). I was in primary school and was eager to get a taste out of this new yummy-looking ice-cream. My brother, cousins and I saved up our pocket money to buy this ice-cream. We ate it for only a couple of times.

But right now, we can afford and we don’t feel the pinch as painful as it used to be.

Viennetta

Viennetta

From the image of the box, it just looks too mouth-watering! I don’t really browse through the ice-cream freezers in the supermarket simply because I don’t fancy tub ice-cream.

But when I spotted Viennetta, I felt the same attraction I had when I was a little girl. Without much of thinking done, I threw it into my basket.

So yesterday, I eagerly ripped the box open and …

Viennetta

Viennetta

To my disappointment, it didn’t look anywhere close to the image displayed in front of the box and it was very messy and all squished up. The box showed that there is a chocolate melted syrup but instead, it was just cocoa powder.

The peanuts were soft, the cream were out of place —

Just then I remembered why I stopped eating this particular ice-cream… It was horrible! <`A´>/

I ate a couple of slices and packed the rest back into the freezer. Seriously, it’s very tedious and the next time I take it out of the fridge, it will probably look like a ball of clusterfuck. <`A´>/

That was yesterday, my Saturday. (Laughs)

Today, in the evening — I thought of playing with Auwlithe, my dearest dog. Prior to this intention, I was reading through a book on how to train and play with your dog.

All this while, I rarely play or have an activity with him other than taking him out for a walk and petting him to sleep. Auwlithe is quite lazy and he prefers to just laze around while I pet him. Mum says that he’s growing sideways and he should exercise sometimes.

So with good intentions, I tried to get him all riled up by running around him and then tapping him from behind.

I was hoping he will run and chase after me however —

He caught me by my right hand and he refused to let me go.

As a result of ‘trying to play with him’ … ↓

O~wie… <;___;> I got mauled by my own dog.

And you know what?

He thought that biting and dragging me down to the ground was the whole part of the game. <x_x>lll

(Cries) Thankfully, I did not bleed a single drip. And luckily he is short! Otherwise he would have bitten off my entire arm!

With that said… Next time — I’m going to stick to just petting Auwlithe to sleep.

Screw what the books say.

Auwlithe

Auwlithe, my little wolf

[ . . . ]

Alright, sorry for keeping you here for too long.

But before you go, would you mind sharing with sheep your ideal weekend?

What do you like to do during the weekends?

What is your ultimate weekend dream? <^x^>/

Baa~~

This is Ms.Aya the sheep, who is going to resume to reading… ↓

PS: Anyone heard of The Tales of Genji?

I saw this book in MPH and wanted to buy but had not enough money. Before I buy, I hope to get some reviews first. So anyone here care to give me a bean of information?

Silly Aya-chan, food never looks like what they do on the package. (@w@)

…(o[]O) Auwlithe did that to you!? Seems like he needs a lesson in what the difference is between play and not play.

(~_~);; GHOST STORIES!!!? *shivers in fear* Ummm, I’ll pass on that subject.

Dear Pixy
Ok, that makes 2 of us indoor-nerds. (Laughs)

I’ll gladly share with you the noodles.. But I suggest you don’t eat the ice-cream. It’s not that nice.

I attacked the left-over ice-cream today and as I already predicted — It’s now a ball of clusterfuck. (Tears)

Kinda of disgusting to eat it. If you ever eat this ice-cream, finish it on the spot. Don’t save it for another time.

Thanks for your concern. (Tears)

Dear Kou-san
(_ _) *Cries* I got cheated.

Auwlithe… *Sniff sniff*

.. You really aren’t a fan of ghost stories, huh? (Laughs)

Countless times I’ve been misled by deceptive images printed on the packages of products. But nor the products neither their manufacturers are to blame for this. I think it’s us, it’s been us all the time, we expect too much and in many ways we are all still so naïve… *sight*…

I’ve never had those noodles, but they do look tasty…tough I’m no mushroms fan.

When it comes to ice cream I do not trust any brands but Häagen Dazs.

Häagen Dazs’ chocomint and Kahlùa and mango sherbet are like little bites of heaven^^.

I’ve never read that book, but it cenrtainly has an excelent reputation everywhere, specially in Japan. I don’t think it would be a waste of time/money.

I love ghost stories^^–!!

You’re right… We expect too much. (;__; )

But it’s the media’s fault for advertising misleading implications. Nowadays everything is so commercialize and materialistic.

Now we purchase something just because of it’s features (or brand names), and not whether it is of any benefits or use to us.

Maybe it’s just me who thinks it this way.. Baa.

The noodles and the soup by itself is tasty, so don’t worry.
… Not a mushroom fan? (.____.) Aw~!

Häagen Dazs! I agree! They’re very nice. It’s quite expensive here so I don’t always eat them.

Is it expensive in your country?

And speaking of ghost stories, what kind of ghost stories does your country have?

Malaysia for instance, we have pontianaks.

Anyway, tell me about yours!

!! RAWR !!

All ghost-stories fans, gather round!

Dear Szanne

The noodles are probably made out of potato flour.
Nonetheless, taste good!

Rosti? (.___.) Can we find that in our local supermarkets?

I love potatoes very much and would love to try all sorts of food with potatoes!

… If I ever reborn as a dog, I hope I don’t belong to you. (Shivers)

So when you go out during the weekends, alone or with friends?

And why do you think it’s pathetic to go window shopping in malls during the weekends? (.___.){?]

Dear SJ
Koitsu wa ‘chiisai no okami’ desu. Jibun sou omoteta na. (Warae)

He’s a mixed breed and I picked him up from a dog shelter. My mother and I are very surprise how come nobody adopted this beautiful dog for 7 months.

Looks like he was meant for us. *Feels bless*

You ate that ice-cream too?!

It’s damn crappy. I have some left-overs and I dare not eat it again. The whole thing melted into don’t-know-what-shape already. *Shivers*

Next time, the both of us must stay away from these kind of ‘Malaysian made ice-cream’. But I checked the box, apparently it originated from Indonesia. (-___-)lll

Hona, you blog too? Is it alright if I visit your blog?

Sheep loves reading blogs. Shimpai shinaide~!
Sheep won’t spam! *Nods nods*

“Lazy people live a lazy life”

(Laughs) How true.

Cheers to all the lazy bums out there!

Hell yeah, Häagen Dazs ice cream is expensive everywhere!!.

There are thousands of ghost stories in Mexico, everywhere you go you can ask the elder end they will tell you many stories about ghosts, magical creatures and all kinds of myths.

Just to mention a few, we have “the weeping woman”, ” the chupacabras”, “the dead nurse”, elves-like creatures called “chaneques”, goblins, people who can transform into animals called “nahual”.

There’s also a very famous haunted house called “Cañitas”, there’s also a quite known book about this house.

Dear Pixy

What ice-cream do you normally eat? (.___.)
Baskin and Robbins?

Dear Szanne

Right… Sad case. (Tears)

Sometimes it’s nice to go alone because you can walk at your pace. Other times, it does feel good to have companions with you.

But the group of 8 can be very taxing and chaotic especially when it comes to making a decision on where to eat.

Moreover, dividing the lunch’s bill equally. (Laughs)

A~w.. Dogs are lovely animals. (Tears)

Dear Rocketd

The weeping woman that you speak of, is it something like a banshee? The Irish Banshee?

And what is a ‘chupacabras’?

Do give me a bean of ‘the chupacabras’, ‘the dead nurse’ and Canitas’.

The rest, like Chaneques, I’ll google.

14.  Rocketd
October 2nd, 2008 at 1:47 am

Not quite, “the weeping woman” is different from the banshee. You can read what’s the legend about here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Llorona

And this is the information about “chupacabras”, the favorite creep of mexican criptologists.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra

16.  Ms.Aya
October 2nd, 2008 at 6:07 pm

Thanks for the reference.

Amazing.. There are so many variations of the ghost’s roots.

La Llorona – I like the second version where she drowns her children and went to the gates of Heaven alone. Due to the absence of her children, she is unable to enter the Heaven thus send back to earth in search of her children.

Which version do you like?

Chupacabra – Animal sucker… It even attacks sheeps? (Shivers) Now I’m threatened. A reason not to ever visit Mexico. (Laughs)

It’s more like a creature/beast rather than a ghost though.

Rocketd-hun, if you have farm animals — take good care of them!

(Laughs)

Thanks for the info once again!

Aya,

Aiii … I don’t know when I can play DMC 4 … My PC cannot support … Guess I have to wait until I have PS3 then xD …

But you know what Aya ? … I haven’t started any Fatal Frames games yet xD … Wait my parents *heat* is down, then I replay again in my new TV xD …

18.  Ms.Aya
October 2nd, 2008 at 10:11 pm

My brother is planning to buy a PS3 once RE5 is release.

We actually bought our current PS2 just to play RE4. (Laughs) We love RE that much!

Once RE5 is out, if you and I by then own a PS3, we try playing online!!!

Are you game for that? (Laughs)

… Yes.. Wait until your parents *heat* down…
To get the best out of Fatal Frame, play it in the dark, around mid night or later!

Thrill yourself, mate!

20.  Ms.Aya
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:20 pm

The noodles is a single package, not in bulks.

Malaysia made food can be trusted. You are so right!

What ice-cream you bought? Is it a tub ice-cream from Wall’s?

21.  Saru-chan
October 3rd, 2008 at 11:37 pm
