Aaah….a simple link-us banner of paper diaries…..but no thanks….i have already link website itself….under my list of links……hmmm…a new link?? your friends link??…..someone random?? or just someone…….that you know in life??? from the name ‘what my uncle says’ somehow sounds…….like a perception of a blog full of rant…..anyhow……i’ll check it first…..

It’s very easy to create a banner.

First, you access your Adobe Photoshop software (you can even use PAINT if you like).

But I’ll explain how to use Adobe Photoshop to create a banner.

CTRL + N to begin.

Insert the title of your image and the size of your image.

Eg: The Paper Diaries banner is 150px x 38px.

When you come to an agreeable size..

Start with creating a new layer and name it “Background”.

If you have any background image that you want to use, open that image and then drag it to your banner browser.

Otherwise, just go to the PAINT BUCKET and colour the whole background.

Then, select “TYPE TOOL” and type the name of your banner. Adjust the size, font … And if you want to make it nicer — go to LAYER — LAYER STYLE and try all of the options there.

In this case, I suggest you use DROP SHADOW, OUTER GLOW or STROKE.

This is how you can create a very simple banner.
